Message From the Front

I have not written to you for some time.
Is everything fine with our family?
Are the children well?
I suppose that you are very busy with the farming and the factory work.
To work as diligently as possible is the duty of the home front.
Since it has become cold do be careful to not catch a cold. Also, please be particularly careful about fire.
Thoroughly attend to village duties and keep up our social relations.
How is the bentonite?
Is the machine running well?
The time for the rice harvest has approached. Do your very best.
I am in very fine spirits and devoting myself to my duties.
Give my best to Yoshizou Okuda. Ask him about anything that you need to know.
Please do look after your health.
