This building was constructed in 1901, the birth year of Emperor Showa.
In contrast with the linear elegance of the Main Sanctuary, its design skillfully incorporates the beauty of curved lines.
Members of various associations for surviving family, comrades in arms, and worshippers are purified here before entering the Main Sanctuary.
Ordinary visitors are also welcome to pay their respects in front of the Main Hall.
