In addition to precious artifacts connected to the divinities enshrined at Yasukuni Jinja, the many people who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country since the end of the Tokugawa shogunate, this museum stores and exhibits historical documents related to various wars, weapons and armor, treasures, and more.
These materials offer a glimpse into the foundation of modern Japan.
