This building and its collection of books were donated by the Kaikosha Foundation in 1999 to commemorate the shrine’s 130th anniversary.
The reading room has 20 seats, and the archives house many books and other materials relating to history and the Shinto religion, centering on those dealing with modern Japanese military history.
