This building was completed in 1933 to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the issuance of the Imperial Rescript to Soldiers and Sailors (1932).
The neat single-storied structure of unlacquered timber serves as a waiting chamber for members of the Imperial family and other distinguished worshippers.
