Sakura means “cherry blossom,” the symbol of Yasukuni Jinja. This shop under the direct management of the shrine offers a wide selection of goods inspired by cherry blossoms: exclusive confections, ceramic works by the potters who created the cherry-blossom ceramic tiles in the Soul-Comforting Garden, kabazaiku cherry-bark woodwork from Akita, Edo Kiriko cut glass, hand towels, soap, stationery, postcards, and more.
We hope that these items, representing the delicate flowers that herald the arrival of spring, will bring visitors closer to the memories of the enshrined spirits.
