This Year of the Horse, the Yushukan Memorial Museum will host a special exhibition focusing on the heroic deeds of the war dead and military horses.
This unprecedented exhibition will explore the connection between the enshrined deities' deeds and military horses, provide an overview of military horses, display related artifacts, and introduce memorial ceremonies.

【Opening Hours】9:00 AM – 4:30 PM (Last admission 30 minutes before closing)
Extended hours during the Mitama Festival period (July 13–16)
【Location】Yushukan Museum, 1st Floor, Special Exhibition Room
【Admission Fee】¥300 ※Free for high school students and younger, members of the Supporters' Association, and visitors to the permanent exhibition
Please present your student ID, Supporters' Association membership card, or permanent exhibition admission ticket.
【Closed】Tuesday, June 23 to Thursday, June 25
In advance of the special exhibition, paintings and horse tack related to horses from the Yushukan collection are on display in the Main Building Gallery (within the permanent exhibition) starting January 1 (Thu). We invite you to view these as well. ※Admission to the Main Building Gallery requires a permanent exhibition ticket.
